Bio-Energia is a polish provider of consulting and biomass supply chain management services. We specialize in seting up and managing biomass feedstock as well as biomass processing and logistics.
Our long-term objective is to research and develop bioenergy-related business models and technologies which use renewable biomass resources to produce electricity, heat, liquid, solid, and gaseous fuels, chemicals, and other materials.
Our areas of interest are the economic, social, environmental, and ecological consequences in growing and using biomass. Bio-Energia forms and joins alliances addressing technological, market, and policy issues associated with bioenergy systems.
Specific areas of interest and/or expertise include:
- economic and energetic efficiency of biomass production and processing,
- biomass supply chain management,
- biomass co-combustion, gasification, pyrolysis,
- bio-plants and bio-refineries.
Bio-Energia develops practices and know-how in the area of all-year-round production of large quantities of biomass and its supply chain management. We conduct research and experiments in the fields of agrotechnics, biomass harvesting, processing, logistics and environmental protection.
